Kune-Vain-Tale Nature Reserve, the perfect day trip to enjoy Spring in Albania

une-Vain-Tale Nature Reserve is a nature park located within the Lezhë County, about one hour and a half from Tirana. After dropping my nieces to the airport, we were wondering where to go for some fresh air. That's when I was reminded that a friend recommended "Trendafili Mistik" as a great choice for lunch around Lezha (Yeah Arvena, that's you) and so we left. We traveled for around 45 minutes from the airport of Tirana and when we reached the entrance of the natural park, we wondered how it is possible that in all these years we never visited it before.

The entrance ticket for the park was 200 Albanian lekë for each car and upon watching that view you immediately agree that that’s money well spent.
 
We headed for the restaurant, the road to which led us through the lagoon. At one spot you could see water from both car windows and that was just amazing. Here, let me show you what I mean:
There was a small playground for kids at the restaurant, which of course had a large outdoor area and a front view of the beach. We enjoyed a coffee with the breathtaking view as we waited for our table to be ready while Doen played around.
With this amazing view, we unboxed our package from Salt of The Earth Albania which was composed of 2 natural deodorants. One for mommy and one for daddy.
The menu was composed of 2 main dishes: fish or pie with chicken meat. Both could be enjoyed with a traditional salad and cheeses. Since we are trying to stay healthy now that summer is approaching we went with bass. It was delicious (perfectly cooked and just with the amount of salt that I love).
 
**This is not a PR trip, just customer satisfaction 🙂

After lunch we headed back home, with a considerable amount of traffic but pretty pleased by the time spent in nature.


To be considered: If you plan to make this trip in the warmer months bring mosquito spray as there will find plenty of those.
